In this instructional video, created by icreatables.com we are shown how to install an electrical outlet in a home that is being built. Obviously this is a task that should only be done by a licensed electrician - do not attempt this if you are not licensed. If a person were to perform this without a license, and an accident were to happen, you would not be covered by insurance.
Tools you will need for this job:
Hammer
Screwdriver
Power Drill with 3/4 Inch bit
Utility Knife
Wire Cutters/Strippers
Pliers
When you're wiring an outlet, always remember that the black wire goes to the brass on the outlet - not the silver. When working with electricity, it is highly advisable to use insulated tools to avoid electric shocks.
